The Qwardian Time Capsule launched with Anti-Monitor Anniversary Event. These Capsules offer styles, gear, a rare Back-up/Henchman Trinket and more.

*On July 5th, 2018 Time Capsules were restructured removing the Provision and Tactical Sub Capsules. The information in the Sub Capsule section below Is only used for Reference now. The Provision Sub Capsule has now been added to the General List of items obtained from just opening the Time Capsule.

Every time you open a Capsule you'll get the following:
- $5,000 in-game Cash
- This capsule has a chance to drop 2 of the following items:

  • 1x Fabricated Mote

  • 8x Exobytes

  • 1x Cache of 3 Stabilizer Fragment

  • 2x Proto Mainframe Bot

  • 3x Complex Materials

  • 5x Soder Cola Ultimate

- x1 Sub Capsule

The Sub Capsule will be one of the following: The Shim'Tar Regalia Gear Capsule, The Greek God Emblem Capsule and Collections Capsule.

Special Bonus Drop - Qwardian Thunderers (Back-Up/Henchman)

The Rare drop in this Time Capsule from just opening it is the Qwardian Thunderers Back-Up/Henchman Trinket. You still require access to the Base Mainframe system to unlock Back-Up/Henchman to use this.

The Sub Capsules

Qwardian Tactical Mod Capsule (No Longer in TC)

These new White mods that can be placed in the Head sockets. There are 3 variations:

Critical (Type 2/Type 3)

  • Grants an additional 1%/2% Critical Strike Chance when using the Specified Ability

Energized

  • Returns 3% of your Power when you use the Specified Ability

Supercharged (Type 2/Type 3)

  • Grants 2.5%/5% Supercharge back when you use the Specified Ability

 

Provisions Capsule (Items moved to General List)

This capsule has a chance to drop 2 of the following items:

  • 1x Anti-Monitor Mote

  • 8 Exobytes

  • 3x Stabilizer Fragment

  • 2x Proto Mainframe Bot

  • 3x Complex Materials

  • 5x Soder Cola Ultimate

This box also contains the Ultra Rare Blue Collection drops (1 per collection):

Scar's Corrupted Power Ring for the Relics of Black Death Collection
Winning Lottery Ticket for the Relics of Orange Avarice Collection
Void Essence for the Artifacts of the Void Collection

The Greek God Emblem Cache (colour indicates rarity)

These Caches also come with a R&D Plan to create an Enhanced version that glows. 

The Zodiac Emblems debuted in DC Universe Online as part of the Qwardian Time Capsule. The set features emblems for each of the 12 signs of the Zodiac.

 

Gear Capsule - Qwardian Guard

  • This capsule contains 8 different pieces of gear:

    • Qwardian Guard's Shirt Box (Chest)

    • Qwardian Guard's Pants Box (Legs)

    • Qwardian Guard's Helmet Box (Head)

    • Qwardian Guard's Shoulderpads Box (Shoulders)

    • Qwardian Guard's Jet Pack Box (Back)

    • Qwardian Guard's Boots Box (Feet)

    • Qwardian Guard's Belt Box (Waist)

    • Qwardian Guard's Gloves Box (Gloves)

  • The item level of the gear inside depends upon your CR Maxing out originally at Item Level 164, now Item Level 212.

  • You can trade the capsule itself before opening

  • Upon opening the capsule, you are given another capsule, this time making it clear which piece of the set you have in your possession. At this point you can still trade the piece.

  • Once you open this capsule, you are given the option of a DPS version or your Power's Support Role. At this point you can NOT trade the gear anymore.

DCUO's Qwardian Fighter Style is a rare style found exclusively within Qwardian Time Capsules. It is stylised after the appearance of the Qwardians, inhabitants of the Planet Qward. This set can only be obtained as a random drop from the "Qwardian Time Capsule".

 

Collections

There are 3 different collections to complete. Each collection contains 12 pieces each and there are varying grades of rarity from Blue to Green to White. These collections gives 2 Auras and a Material.

The Corrupted Aura is a reward for completing the DCUO "Relics of Black Death" Collection. The Corrupted aura made it's first appearance in DCUO in Episode 15, worn by Corrupted Hawkgirl in the War of the Light storyline.

DCUO's Citrine Misted Aura is an aura style available to all players who complete the "Relics of Orange Avarice" Collection found exclusively in the Qwardian Time Capsules. The Citrine Misted Aura is the aura worn by the Iconic DC Comics characters Lex Luthor, Penguin, Cheetah and Captain Cold after they have become infused with the Citrine Mist in the storyline from DLC12: War of the Light Part 2.

In total, there are 36 collection pieces to collect. However, only 33 of the 36 are able to drop simply by opening the Time Capsule itself. The remaining 3 pieces, which are listed as the #1 Blue piece in each collection, are pieces which can only drop as an ultra rare drop from the Provisions Capsule.

All of these collection pieces are tradable, meaning you can sell/buy them on the Broker. The auras themselves are also tradable, too, so you can sell/donate/give away the auras if they aren't to your liking.
