Death of Superman Overview

In Celebration of Superman's 80th Anniversary, Daybreak is bringing a retelling of the Iconic story of Death of Superman to DC Universe Online set in the game's world. It features a mixture of the Death of Superman Arc and the New 52's story Arc, Doomed.

Doomsday has descended upon Metropolis carrying a plague that is infecting the citizens. Superman is trying to subdue Doomsday as STAR Labs and LexCorps scientists work to understand the plague.

How to get there

The Doomed Metropolis Open World Area is accessible by opening the World Map and clicking on the Warp Menu. You have to be Level 10+ to enter and your Combat Rating (CR) will be increased to 218 if you are below that CR. Your Stats will also be increased to be on a level playing field with the content.

Missions

In order to get access to the Daily Missions, you have to go through the story which are will be the same missions you do for the Dailies and Weeklies.

All's Well That Ends Well (Heroes Storyline)

The next mission unlocks taking you to talk to Lois Lane at the Daily Planet. When you get close you'll need to interact with the Kryptonian Object giving you Supergirl's Gift, the Omegahedron Artifact. (Images brought you by Dstdnt & Torikumu and his Amazing Abs) After Accepting the Artifact, the Dailies and Weeklies will be unlocked.

Torikumu provided a video showcasing all the base items that can be found in The Last Son of Krypton solo.

In Part 3 of the DCUO Death of Superman content, 5 brand new base items were introduced as rewards for players to earn. An animated, spinning Daily Planet globe replica, a golden Superman Statue replica (in regular and League Hall sizes) and a framed poster of the incredible Death of Superman key art (in regular and League Hall sizes).

Rewards
