DCUO Episode Leak Update: Donna Troy + Troia Gear!

Troia revealed to Donna Troy and Roy Harper in DC Universe Rebirth Titans #16
Leaks of a new gear suit coming to DCUO in either the upcoming or following Episode have surfaced! The first set of images display the NPC of Donna Troy's Rebirth appearance and while the second is the entire gear set, showcasing the remaining pieces inspired by Troia’s Rebirth (an alternate future evil version of Donna Troy!) The suit’s concept with two different inspirations built-in are reminiscent of the Kaldur’ahm Aqualad gear set, Son of the Manta, but instead of incorporating original concepts to allude to Ocean Master being his father, references to a possible future where Troia betrays the Teen Titans, who went back in time to try to destroy them. Is this a hint of a possible villain we will also have to face? While in the story this version of the character came from was on her on, is there potential we may see a Titans Tomorrow Episode which pit us against future versions of today’s Teen Titans? Could it even be a Time Capsule gear? We will just have to wait and find out, especially with San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) starting tomorrow!

Donna Troy Base Suit
“For this piece I was given the task of designing Donna Troy's outfit for DC Universe Online. This concept later was used for the redesign for the NPC character itself. The base suit I designed was initially meant for players to use for their own characters. While I only have the female version of the Donna Troy suit done, Megan Cheaver will be doing the male version.
This piece ended up being a huge learning experience and was a lot of fun! It was great working under the guidance of the team and Megan!”

Donna Troy Gear Suit
“While I was working on the Base Suit design for Donna Troy, I was also able to do the complete gear suit as well. A gear suit is split into 8 pieces: Head, Shoulders, Back, Belt, Arms, and Feet.
Head piece: Hood and Mask
Shoulder pieces: Blades on the back
Back Piece: Cape
Arms: Gloves that go all the way up the bicep
Feet: Boots that go up to mid-thigh
While I worked on the female version of the gear suit, Megan Cheaver will be doing the male version. It was great working under her and learning from her!”
